Set designer
This ad was for a governmental tax office and featured three sets of commercial spaces where money transactions are common to show a new policy in the tax payments.
The sets were all built in a studio in Santo Domingo with the help of a construction team. The design process went from the walls, windows, flooring, and furnishing of each space to make it feel like the real place but keeping the same colour palette with the use of black and the motive of the chalk lettering murals on each to visually connect the spaces. Although they were filmed at the same time, each set came to be a different ad.

Filmed in Pinewood Dominican Republic Studios, on the outdoor lot, I was in charge of construction and decoration coordination.
For the set, a complex of 6 individual cabins and one cafeteria and lobby were built from scratch, designed by a third party architectural company and supervised by the art director. The cabins were built with real materials but just enough for them to look realistic and hold up during filming. After completion of construction, the cabins were then aged to make them look as they have been abandoned and furniture was brought in and treated as well to match the style. On the last week of filming one of the cabins was set to explode as part of the script which is one of the reasons why the set had to be built from scratch instead of shooting on location.

Stage design
Party favors was a series of events produced by Mishu, the same company in charge of Isle Of Light. I was involved from the start with the creation of the logo and overall environment of the events.
The motives of neon lights, sunset colours and tropical forest were the main influences in creating the scene. Three parties happened in total, all needing for the stage to be adapted differently depending on the type of performance, from a DJ deck table, a stage for a rock band and one for an electro pop band. The main elements like the light logo and the neon lights were re adapted in every venue but also keeping the aesthetic the same.

Set designer
The final visuals for this TV commercial were made via computer animated graphics, with the integration of real life elements and an actress traversing a virtually generated world.
In order to do that, a series of components were made that mimic the path she was going to be taking: blocks of different heights to climb on, steps a slide and a swing. These components were painted on a chroma green and filmed in the studio with the actress performing the action on each with a very specific camera angle to make them match the animation that was a sort of obstacle course to reach the prize the advertisement was about.
